I love the people and the vibe of all the happiness. Everyone gets attention and no one is left out. When ur with your family it's as if there was never fighting. You don't experience sadness or anger when ur at Gull Lake, you only experience love.
We have enjoyed Gull Lake Family Camp now for six consecutive summers, and every year when we discuss where we should take our big family vacation, the kids consistently want to return to GLM! In fact we have attended GLM for the past 3 New Years Celebrations as well.
This was our first year at Gull Lake. I was looking for a family friendly camp that featured an apologetics speaker. Then I looked for accommodations that could deal with my health issues. It was soooo nice that even though I have to travel with a bed, we were able to arrange the room in such a way that it easily fit into that room. The teaching for all family members was AMAZING! The accommodations were awesome, the food was GREAT and most importantly, the food for the soul was THE BEST! Our son got the opportunity to be baptized, he'd been thinking about it for awhile and now had the opportunity to be baptized and his dad got to help with this.
I went with my family for the 1st time this year and we all loved it. The staff is amazing, and my 2 nieces said it was better than Florida. There are programs for the whole family, young and old. Great place to reconnect with God and to relax. The food is amazing. Can't wait till next summer to visit again.
Very good experience. When you're there, you can feel the Holy Spirit working in all the staff. When your week is done and you have to leave you feel refreshed, and full of life wanting to go out and spread the good news. Kudos to Ambush, Hoedown, Gatorade, and the rest of the team…
